Memory
Due to my busy work schedule, I haven’t gone out with my parents for a long time. Knowing how much they were looking forward to a trip to BeiDaiHe, I wanted to ensure everything went smoothly for them.
By using the computer, I gathered information on booking hotels, choosing transportation, and checking the weather, which greatly assisted my parents in their planning. Later, I went to the train station to buy their train tickets to save them the trouble. Afterwards, together with mother, I packed what they may need into the suitcase. The next morning, I got up early to send them to the station and see them off. Waving goodbye to them on the platform, I sincerely wished them a pleasant and safe journey.
This weekend, I felt delighted to have helped my parents achieve their travel dream, it’s great to see that they are still on the road to embrace the world.

Example
Dear Dad,
Greetings from Beijing!
I’m now sitting in a post office in Beijing, recalling my trip with Joey, who I met during my exchange program last year.
You know, Joey arrived last week. Immediately we got down to making a plan of a trip to explore Beijing. With a map and travel brochures spread out before us, Joey and I carefully planned our trip, ensuring we wouldn’t miss any highlights. Packing our luggage was enjoyable since Joey was eager and curious about what to bring for his first visit to China. The highlight was walking on the ancient Great Wall and admiring the breathtaking views. Furthermore, we went to a traditional restaurant, where Joey couldn’t stop praising the crispy skin and tender meat of Beijing Duck. We both enjoyed the meal immensely.
Overall, our trip to Beijing was filled with laughter, exploration, and memorable moments. Wish you were here to share it with us! By the way, I’m heading home soon!
Love,
Li Hua
