【用法归纳】
one forty-five和a quarter to two均表示“1:45”。
英语中时间的表达可以分为两种:
1. 整点表达法
整点钟, 直接用“基数词+o'clock”表示。o'clock也可以省。
2. 非整点表达法
(1)顺读法
按照“先时后分”的顺序, 先读整点数, 再读分钟数, 都用基数词读出。当分钟数小于10时, 数字“0”可以用“O”表示, 发字母“O”的读音。
(2)逆读法
①当分钟数小于或等于30时, 用“分钟数或half+past+钟点数”表示。
②当分钟数大于30时, 用“60减去分钟数+to+下一个钟点数”表示。
③当分钟数是15, 即一刻钟时, 可用quarter表示。 例如:
