一、单元整体预览

(一）已知内容分析

展示恐龙展厅，并通过问题“How many dinosaurs can you see in the hall ”和“Which dinosaur is taller ”引导学生观察分析，再通过猜测恐龙身高学习重点句型“How tall is… /It’s…meters”。
(3)Look and say
展示文本图片，让学生观察语境猜测用什么语言进行表达。
2.设计分析
Let’s talk是围绕单元中心话题展开的第一课时，是通过对话文本让学生感知和学习新语言知识的板块，着重训练学生的听说技能。在in the dinosaur hall语境中，对恐龙进行观察对比分析，解决课时重难点。最后通过对情境分析，落实语言输入，实现交际的初步生成。
第二课时：[A.Let’s learn/B.Let’s learn/Let’s wrap it up/Story time]
1.课堂设计
(1)Sing and find
创设in the dinosaur cinema的场境，通过观看电影和吟唱歌谣，回答：Which dinosaur is stronger and taller
(2)Finish the task
呈现一组恐龙图，采用头脑风暴的形式，引导学生观察，由形容词原级过渡到比较级。呈现归纳总结的形容词比较级变化规律，自然过渡到Let’s wrap it up的语法小结。
2.设计分析
第二课时是两个单词版块的整合，单词的学习也离不开语境，只有在语境中获得的词汇才可以更加灵活地加以运用。先唤醒学生旧知，再通过各项围绕单词音形义的教学活动开展，让孩子们在课堂上掌握词汇变形和运用。
第三课时：[B.Let’s talk/Let’s check]
1.课堂设计
(1)I say you do
学生通过游戏I say you do，巩固比较级。
(2)Talk about the shoes in the shoe shop
导入本课时的场境后，老师通过问题“Those dinosaur shoes in the shop are nice.Let’s have a look.Do you want to buy them ”激发学生在真实情景中交际的欲望。
　　(3)Make a survey
　　学生以四人小组为单元，运用句型进行调查任务，并写下合理的健康建议。
　　2.设计分析
　　本课时的话题场境：In the shop，通过商店内的销售员创设，让学生如临其境，激活学生的生活体验。在教学内容上是第一课时的延伸和扩展，作为单元整合的第二个对话版块，与第一个的对话版块相比，对学生语言能力的要求有所提高。最后设计了任务调查，让学生在完成任务的过程中拓展语言。
第四课时：[Read and write]
1.课堂设计
(1)Free-talk
观察图片，回答问题：“The students and the teachers are in the garden,what are they doing ”，导入新课。
　　(2)Read and answer
　　通过读前，读中的设问，读后的选择填空，培养学生阅读能力和策略。
　　(3)Think and discuss
　　学生以四人小组为单位进行讨论分析，并给出小组的讨论结果。
2.设计分析
作为单元的最后一个新授课版块，同时也是一节阅读写作课型，本课旨在培养学生的语篇阅读理解能力和语言运用能力。课堂由在花园场景，Mr Jone讲故事引入，接着通过读前，听故事;到读中，理清文本内容；再到最后的细读，根据文本内容填空。活动的设计体现了从易到难，循序渐进的原则。在这一系列的学习活动中，促使学生对阅读文本的理解与运用，培养了学生的语言运用能力和思维品质，从而提高课堂时效。

语篇分析 What:本课时学习A部分的Let's try和Let's talk两个环节。Let's try为听力练习，通过孩子们在博物馆的谈话引出新句子“It's taller."，为即将学习的新句型做准备。Let's talk为一段张鹏和迈克在博物馆的对话，通过对话引出了句型“主语+be 动词+the＋形容词的最高级(＋可数名词单数)+in/of+比较范围.”“A+be 动词＋形容词的比较级＋than十B.”“—How tall＋be 动词＋主语 —(主语+be动词+)数字+长度单位(十tall).”，让学生感知上述句型的句意及语用情景，并能简单运用形容词比较级对比人或动物的外貌特征。Why:本课主要通过设置恐龙博物馆参观这一情境，带领学生进入恐龙世界，通过看—看，比一比，说一说，聊一聊，激起学生谈论恐龙的兴趣。How:在看、比、聊中认识恐龙，感受不同恐龙典型的身体特征，同时能够在语境中熟练运用taller, shorter,等形容词比较级进行人或恐龙的外貌特征的比较，同时也能够完成对比自己与同学身高的活动。以身高的谈论为model引导学生在同义语境中延伸谈论话题。课前让学生搜集恐龙的信息，和同伴的进行比较练习句型。
