You may disagree with your friends or family members in some cases. There are some steps you can take to make conversations more polite and meaningful.
Listen to their side
Even if you don’t share someone’s point of view, you can still listen to what they want to say. Show that you’re paying attention by listening carefully. Keep eye contact, nod and move your body towards the person you are listening to.
Try respectful language
When someone has an opinion you don’t agree with, it can be easy to dismiss (摒弃) it. Here are some ways for you to express opinions with respect. Stay calm and start with “I” instead of “You”. For example, you might say “I feel” or “I see this in another way”. Also make sure you do not use “We” language, even if you know others in your group agree with you.
▲
An opinion with feelings is weak. If you have a strong opinion, you can make a better case for it with facts. Facts are not based on personal feelings or guesses and they are true statements (陈述). Say what you would like to say in a calm voice and make sure your facts can be trusted.

故选A。
在提出这个建议后,作者用“For example”引出了一个具体的例子:你可以说“I feel”或“I see this in another way”。
根据“An opinion with feelings is weak. If you have a strong opinion, you can make a better case for it with facts. Facts are not based on personal feelings or guesses and they are true statements.” 故选A。
根据第五段“In the end, it’s worth the effort because healthy communication builds strong relationships with others.”

There are some steps you can take to make conversations more polite and meaningful.”

根据“Applauding (鼓掌) can make us happy.”和“So applauding is not given to others—it’s for yourself.”
根据“The movement brings changes in neural circuits (神经回路), producing an important brain nutrient factor called brain-derived neurotrophic factor, BDNF (脑源性神经营养因子), which is the ‘fertilizer (肥料)’ of the brain.”
