Picking Apples on the Farm
Last Saturday afternoon, our class went to pick apples on the farm.It was a great teamwork experience!
There were too many apples to pick, so it was a hard job.As the class head, I divided my classmates into six groups.Four groups carried the apples and two groups climbed up to pick apples.When one group felt tired, I asked them to take a rest for five minutes.If someone did the job well, he or she could eat apples for five minutes, too.
We all liked the work of picking apples on the farm because we were very happy with our teamwork.

Xiao Ya came up with some ideas and Li Xiang drew the pictures with colored chalks.肖雅想到了一些主意,李想用彩色粉笔绘画。
用法总结  come up with 意为 “提出;想到”;with colored chalks 是介词短语,意为 “用彩色粉笔”;chalk n.表示“粉笔”时,是不可数名词,而与colored连用,构成colored chalks(彩色粉笔)时,是可数名词。例如:
Please bring me five colored chalks here, Jimmy.Jimmy,给我拿五根彩色粉笔过来一下。
