3. But a problem appeared during the very first task – giving out the roles.

1) Her confidence finally gave out.
她终于失去了信心。

4. Some of the team thought Mary was better. The others went with Lisa.
团队中有些人认为Mary更合适。其他人则支持Lisa。
some of… the others… 一部分人或物……，其余的人或物……；也用于表示某些人支持一种观点，而其他人支持另一种观点
