第一课时(Get ready & Start up)
教学目标 会认、读、写职业类核心词汇;能听懂,理解并运用句型“What does ... do ”和“He’s/She’s a ...”询问和回答职业。(语言能力) 2.了解不同职业的名称及基本的社会分工,尊重各种职业及理解各种职业价值;初步认识中西方职业表达。(文化意识) 3.通过图片和语境推理职业名称,培养学生的观察和逻辑思维能力;让学生在小组活动中,通过提问与回答,提升信息获取与表达的条理性。(思维品质) 4.锻炼学生在日常情境中的口语表达能力以及语篇理解能力;让学 生们学以致用,在现实生活中活学活用;锻炼学生通过听力活动 提取关键信息的能力。(学习能力)
教学重点 掌握职业词汇及熟练运用句型“-What does ... do -He’s/She’s a ...”询问和回答职业;理解和复述Start up故事内容。
教学难点 突破长难词汇的语音及拼写部分(例如police officer,restaurant等……);在对话中正确运用第三人称单数和助动词does。
教学过程 批注
Step 1 Warm-up&Lead in 用歌曲做warm up,既可以迅速破冰,也可以营造热闹、良好的学习氛围。提高学生的参与度和积极度,并带领学生提前了解本单元的教学主题。
Warm up Let’s sing 教师播放歌曲Finger family-Jobs的动画视频,引导学生看视频跟唱。教师此环节时在教室内巡回走动,并带领学生跟唱。 动画视频播放完后,教师让学生回忆并思考视频内容,询问学生视频的主题,从而引出单元主题Jobs. T: Wow, what a great song! Please think and answer me. What’s the video about (教师可英英讲解三个选项的意思,给出示例。) Ss: ... T: Yes, it’s about jobs. Lead in Free talk 引出单元主题Jobs后,让学生们说出自己了解的职业,分享其对 应的英文单词。
Step 2 Presentation&Practice 将词汇进行分类教学,提高课堂的教学效率,并能突出教学重点,克服词汇难点。 通过单词操练游戏,加强学生们对词汇读音、意思和拼读的记忆。且多次反复的练习,让学生们熟练掌握主题词汇。 从职业和职业地点引出教学环节,教学流程衔接流畅,能提升学生的注意力和专注度。 根据故事中的情景,让学生理解生词和句子,提高学生活学活用的能力。且讲练结合,加深学生的印象。 结合故事剧情和所学知识,让学生独立补充完整句子,再来呈现正确句子。增强学生的语言自信心和表达欲望。另一方面学生对重点句型的记忆会更加深刻。
Presentation Let’s learn(Get ready) Learn new words.(单词学习)(P5-10) 将课本中涉及到的主题词汇分为两类:1. 简单且常见的单词:teacher,farmer和cook。此类单词可简易教学。2. 较难或生单词:fireman,doctor和police officer。此类单词需要多加操练。两类词汇都需学生掌握其读音,词义和拼写,只是第一类属于常见词汇,较为简单,课上的学习可以控制在较少的时间内。教师教授完后需板书。 可参考单词操练方式: (1)“开火车”纠音(2)“高低声”方式操练读音
(3)指令类操练方式练习读音(4)中英文对照操练词义和拼写 Practise the words.(单词操练) Look and read.(P11&P12)课件呈现图片及单词。教师再次 带领学生读单词,对于学生仍旧不熟悉的单词再次操练。然后教 师点击图片,学生便要说出其英文。 Practice.(P13)课件呈现中文,学生需准确并快速的说出其 英文。 T: Now I will show you some Chinese, please say out the English correctly and quickly. If you do very good job, you can get the points. Listen and sing.(歌曲学习) 课件呈现教材P2 Get ready Part 1内容。 T: Just now we have learnt some words about jobs. Now try to sing the song about jobs! 教师教授歌曲,让学生跟唱练习。然后请同学们以组为单位练习 并上讲台展示(P15)。 Look and draw lines. Then point and say.(P17-P23) (1)Match the jobs and places. 课件呈现职业图片(teacher, doctor,fireman,police officer,farmer和cook)以及工作地点图 片(school,hospital,fire station,police station,farm和restaurant)。 呈现职业类图片时,可让学生快速反应说出英文,进行复习。 T: Where do they work at Look at these places. Please match the jobs and places they work at. Know the places. 教师首先带学生复习一些已知且常见的工 作地点词汇(school,farm,hospital和restaurant)(如有不熟悉 的可增加操练),然后教师再带领学生学习新工作地点词汇(主 要讲解station)。 教师需板书地点词汇:school,hospital,fire station,police station, farm,restaurant。 (3)Point and say. 课件以下饺子的游戏形式呈现单词操练环节。 教师点击词汇,学生需快速读出单词并翻译。 T: Let’s play a game. I will choose one, you need to read and translate. 课件呈现教材P2 Get ready Part 2地图。教师先让学生观察 图片,按照字母顺序说出看到的地点。再来询问学生“Who works in these places ”,可让学生分组比赛完成。 Start up Read and answer.(句子&故事教学) Free talk. 让学生分享自己父母的工作。 T: My father is a police officer. How about your father You can share your parents’ jobs. Listen, read and choose.(P25-26) 从学生父母亲的工作引出问题 “How about Lingling’s father ”,让学生们对Lingling父亲的工作 产生好奇。课件中给出三个选项(A. farmer B. painter C. scientist), 其中painter和scientist两个新单词需要教授并操练。 播放完视频后,可选择学生分享答案。呈现答案及课文中对应的 句子,让学生首次熟悉重点句型。 T: Now who can share your answer What does Lingling’s father do S1: 科学家/Scientist. T: Yes, they say “I know! He’s a scientist.”, so Lingling’s father is a scientist. Let’s learn.(P27-41)课件分别呈现Start up故事图片,教师一一 讲解,词句知识点随文而教。(教师板书生词汇及重点句型) 重点句型: 询问职业:-What does he do -He is a scientist.(P28-29) 确认职业:-Is he a farmer -No, he isn’t.(P33) Practice. Read and answer.(P42-44) 课件上呈现Start up Part 1的情景图片,教师播放音频,学生进行 跟读,注意提醒学生模仿语音语调,部分语调教师可进行展示和 教学;而个别读音难的单词,老师可再次单独进行带读操练。 Watch and follow. (教师自行播放视频,根据课程进度决定是否进行) 播放Start up Part 1动画视频,学生观看视频并跟读句子。学生再 次熟悉情境并练读。 Read again and write.(P45) 课件上呈现Start up Part 2内容。 教师让学生再次读故事,自行完成填空。教师再选择学生分享答案,并带领学生核对答案。 Read and complete.(P46-47) 课件以角色形式呈现,学生们需分角色补充完故事内容。 T: The story is interesting. (P49) 课件呈现Start up Part 3的图片,教师先带领学生认识图中人物, 以及图片下面的职业单词。其中writer和worker为生词,需单独 教授。再播放音频,让学生先自行完成。音频结束后,可选择学 生分享答案,最后再来播放音频核对答案。 Work in pairs.(P51) 课件呈现Start up Part 4的图片,教师可以先让三名学生扮演此部 分(两名学生对话,一名学生作厨师)。再给学生一一分组,用 所学句型“-What does your ... do -He/She is a ...”来进行对话, 了解同学家庭成员的职业。最后可选择部分小组上台分享。 T: They are sharing family member’s job. Now please share it with your partners. Then I will choose some students to show us. 小组分享及练习时,教师可巡视并给予学生们一定帮助和建议。
Step 3 Consolidation&Extension 多个活动考验了学生对所学知识的掌握情况,锻炼了学生的自信心,充分增强了学生的综合运用能力。
Look and guess.(职业单词操练)(P14) 课件呈现不同职业相关的图片,例如工作地点、工作用品或者工 作服饰等……学生们根据所呈现的图片来说出对应的工作。 T: Let’s play a guessing game. Now I will show you some pictures, you can guess the jobs. If you are right, you can get the points. Make dialogues.(句子操练)(P30) 学生们需根据课件呈现的图片来用“-What does ... do -He/She is a/an ...”进行对话。 T: Here are some jobs. Please according to the pictures make some dialogues with your partner. 3. Role-play.(P48) 学生分组并分角色扮演故事中的角色。练习后教师选择个别小组进行展示。根据发音、流利度和表演情况进行评分。评选出角色扮演最佳小组。 4. Do and say.(教师可根据上课情况来选择是否进行) 你画我猜游戏。教学将职业写在卡片上,选择学生上台做出卡片 上职业会做的动作,然后让下面的学生进行猜测。
Step 4 Summary&Homework
1.小结: Words about jobs: teacher, farmer, doctor, worker, fireman, cook, police officer, painter, writer, scientist Words about places: school, farm, hospital, police station, fire station, restaurant Key sentences: 询问他人的职业:-What does he do -He’s a scientist. 2.作业: 抄写本课所学新单词,每个两遍; 听录音,熟练跟唱Get ready Part 1; 画出父母的职业照,并仿照In focus编写两组对话。
