名词 “She gave me a beautiful flower.”中,“flower”突出重要性。
动词 “He loves chocolate.”中,“loves”是重读词,它表明了主语的行为。
形容词/副词 “He spoke loudly.”中,“loudly”作为副词,强调了说话的方式。
对比或强调的词 “I prefer coffee to tea.”中,“prefer”和“to”重读,表明对比。

主要区别在于它们的含义、用法上。
含义上,lend意味着“借出”,
即把属于自己的东西给别人
暂时使用;而borrow则意味
着“借入”,即把不属于
自己的东西拿来暂时使用.

用法上,lend可以接双宾语,例如“lend sb sth”或者“lend sth to sb”;
而borrow不能接双宾语,通常用于“borrow sth from sb”或者“borrow sth for oneself”这样的结构中。

宾语位置:当“turn off”后接名词作为宾语时,名词可以放在短语之间,也可以放在短语之后。但如果宾语是代词,则必须放在短语之间。
例如,“He turned off the TV.”(他关掉了电视。)和“He turned it off.”(他把电视关掉了。)
短语搭配:与“turn”相关的短语还有很多,如“turn on”(打开)、“turn up”(开大音量)、“turn down”(调低音量)、“turn to”(求助)等。

在回答must引起的问句时,如果是否定的答复,可用don’t have to或needn’t (不必) , 但不能用mustn’t (一定不, 必须不, 不允许, 不得)

have to的否定形式为not have to,相当于needn‘t,意为“不必”
如:She doesn't need to clean it now.
