I'm excited to share my favourite free-time activity with you –playing football! I believe it's one of the most rewarding hobbies anyone can have.
My love for playing football started when I was eight years old. My PE teacher noticed my interest and encouraged me to join the school football team. Now, I play football every day after school on the school playground with my teammates.
There are several reasons why I love playing football so much. First, it helps me stay healthy. Second, it is a great way to reduce stress after a busy day of studying. When I’m on the field, I forget about all my stress and just focus on the game. But most importantly, playing football can help me make many new friends and learn teamwork. We work together, celebrate our wins, and support each other when we playing football.
Football is more than just a hobby to me—it is a passion that brings me happiness, health, and friendship. I hope to keep playing it for many years to come.

I have lots of free-time activities, such as playing basketball, listening to music, and drawing. But my favourite free-time activity is doing calligraphy. It is a traditional and meaningful hobby that calms my mind.
I first tried doing calligraphy when I was ten years old. My grandpa took me to his study to learn basic strokes. Now I practice writing characters for half an hour every evening. I usually practice in my own small study. There is a desk with all my calligraphy tools on it.
I love doing calligraphy for several reasons. First, it makes me feel peaceful and relaxed. Also, it can help me reduce my stress after a busy school day. I always forget my worries when I doing calligraphy. Most importantly, I feel a great sense of achievement when I write beautiful Chinese characters.
In a word, calligraphy is not just a hobby for me, but also an important part of my daily routine. I will keep practicing and exploring this traditional art.
