Health problems can happen to anyone at any time. Many people don’t know much about health and first aid. For example, my friend Tom had a nosebleed at school last year. He was so afraid that he didn’t know what to do. As a result, the situation got a bit worse. This made me realize how imporant basic first aid knowledge is. I decided to do something to make a change.
To help students learn basic skills, I set up a Heath and First Aid Club at school in May last year. The club has two main aims: teaching first aid and helping students develop healthy habits. Firstly, we want students to know how to help with small hurts like cuts, burns, or nosebleeds. Secondly, we also hoped to raise students’ awareness (意识) of heath. Knowing how to keep healthy such as eating well, exercising, and getting enough sleep.
Every month, we invite doctors to give talks on common injuries and treatments. We also organize group discussions about healthy lifestyles. For example, we talk about why junk food is bad for us and how much sleep we need, what kinds of food are good for us. Because of the club, now ______________.
