概念
在复合句中，用作状语的从句叫作状语从句。根据所表达的意思，状语从句可分为 时间、地点、原因、条件、结果、目的和让步等类型。

1. until
意为“直到……为止；到……时”，引导时间状语从句。
(1) 用于肯定句中，意为“直到……为止”。如：I stayed until he came back. 我一直待到他回来为止。
(2) 用于否定句中，意为“直到……才”。如：I didn’t leave until he came back. 直到他回来我才离开。
