hear from意为“得到……的消息”。
(1) hear from sb用来表达得到某人的信件、 电子邮件、电话等形式传达的消息。

(2) hear from sb about sth 用来表示得到某人关于某事的消息。
I heard from my teacher about the school trip. 我得到了我的老师关于学校旅行的消息。
