Step 3
Last year, I failed to join the school band. During the tryout, I was so nervous that a big mistake was made. My face turned red when everyone looked at me.
I was hurt by my failure. It was painful because I knew I could play well. I was really disappointed in myself.
But I didn’t want to give up. I practised harder and performed with friends to overcome shyness. I started to think about my failure in a different way. It taught me a lesson and made me stronger. Later, I joined the band successfully.
Now I understand that failure is a part of life. It helps us improve. Don’t be afraid of it!
