(1) suggestion的动词形式为suggest，意为“建议”。
① suggest doing sth.建议做某事
② suggest (that)...建议·.....(宾语从句要用虚拟语气)
John suggested asking his father for his opinion.

The doctor suggests that she should take a few days.
医生建议她休息几天。
(2) advice为不可数名词，意为“建议”，常用搭配:
① a piece of advice一条建议 ② ask for sb.'s advice向某人征求建议
③ accept/follow/take one's advice 接受/听从/采纳某人的意见
辨析：suggestion 与 advice
suggestion 可数名词，可直接用a，many及数词修饰。复数形式为suggestions。 动词形式为suggest。
advice 不可数名词，不能用an, many及数词修饰， 其具体数量应借助于piece来表示。 动词形式为advise。
advise sb. (not) to do sth. 建议某人(不要) 做某事。
