When you step onto the wide, clean roads of Starlight Village, you will see rows of new houses, tall trees and beautiful flowers. Life in Starlight Village is very comfortable, and people are happy to live here.
However, 40 years ago, the roads here were narrow and muddy, and some of the houses were old and broken. There was often rubbish lying in the streets.
Li Ling, a local villager, said, “Thanks to the government’s support, the roads in the village have improved a lot in recent years. The lives of local people are better than before. Most families have built beautiful houses, and we feel hopeful about the future.”
