This passage is a story. When we write or read a story, we tend to use five fingers, that is who, when, where, what, why and how.

how to deal with: cut the long hair short
how about the result: Zhang Jian kept his hair long because he wanted to help the kids with cancer

1.voice的用法
1.Linda's voice is sweet and beautiful.琳达的声音甜美动听。
2.I heard a strange sound outside.我听到外面有一种奇怪的声音。
3. I could hear voices in the next room.我能听到隔壁房间的说话声。
词汇 词性 用法
voice 名词 意为“声音”,主要指人的噪音或讲话、唱歌的“声音”
sound 名词 意为“声音”,泛指人们听到的“声音”,可以指人和动物的声音
系动词 意为“听起来”,其后通常跟形容词作表语
I want to eat one more apple.
= I want to eat another one apple.我想再吃个苹果。
I want to buy two more pencils.
= I want to buy another two pencils.我想再买两支铅笔。
2.one more month的用法
one more month意为 “再一个月”。其结构为:基数词+more+可数名词,意为“再……”,相当于“another+基数词+可数名词”。
3. scissors的用法
scissors作名词,意为“剪刀;剪子”。其量词常用pair,a pair of scissors意为“一把剪子”。
Mrs Smith bought two pairs of scissors yesterday.史密斯夫人昨天买了两把剪子。
My scissors are black. 我的剪刀是黑色的。
The pair of scissors is Jim's.
这把剪刀是吉姆的。
【警示】scissors作主语时,谓语动词用复数形式;a pair of scissors作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。
类似的词还有:shoes, trousers, shorts, glasses等。
