Technology has greatly improved
the performance of modern athletes”(科技提升现代运动员表现),并提到
equipment”,第 4 段讲“Coaches use computers, apps, and smart tools”;
With technology…The mix of hard work, talent, and smart
再看 B 选项:Runners(跑步者)、high-tech
“These shoes”。
__44__ Coaches use computers, apps, and smart tools to help their
athletes learn better skills. For example, some coaches use video analysis
tools to study and improve their athletes' movements.Virtual reality (VR)
has also become part of the training. It allows athletes to feel like they are
competing in real matches, helping them prepare for possible challenges.
B“Runners wear high-tech
shoes to go faster.”
“These shoes”,锁定 B。
C“Modern technology
also improves training.”
E“However, technology will never take the place of
talent or hard work.”用“However” 转折,且“talent or hard work”呼应后
D “A small change in design can make a huge difference.”(设计小改变
42 空(D):前两句 “bikes made from lightweight materials…reduce
wind resistance…ride faster”→D“A small change in design…huge
43 空(A) : 前句 “future of smart sports equipment”→A“smart
clothing”→后句“It uses sensors”(It 指代 smart clothing),“智能服装”
44 空 (C) : C“Modern technology also improves training.”→ 后 句
“Coaches use computers…VR…training.”,
45 空(E) :前句“technology…improve…performance”→E“However,
technology will never take the place of talent or hard work.”→后句“The
mix of hard work, talent, and smart tools”,转折过渡自然,呼应结尾总
结。
①并列或递进关系:and, or, also, neither, either, besides, moreover,
too, not only…but also…等等。
②因果关系:because, since, as, so, thus, as a result 等等。
③转折或让步关系:but, however, yet, still, although, otherwise, even
though 等等。
④列举与例证关系:firstly, secondly, for example, such as 等等。
⑤时间关系:first, later, then, afterwards, finally 等等。

44__ Coaches use computers, apps, and smart
tools to help their athletes learn better skills. For example, some coaches
use video analysis tools to study and improve their athletes' movements.
Virtual reality (VR) has also become part of the training. It allows athletes
to feel like they are competing in real matches, helping them prepare for
possible challenges.
“Modern technology also improves training.”

What's the future of smart sports equipment ?
__43__ It uses sensors ( 传感器) to tell athletes what is going on in their
bodies. These sensors are also able to tell how much energy they are using.
装备”范畴的具体事物,作为“It”的指代对象;
A “A recent development is smart
clothing.”

45__ For example, they might try to use as
little land as possible. If a building covers a large area, there will be less
space for plants and trees. They also have to think about cutting down
waste and pollution while the building work is going on.
E“Architects must
consider what the building will do to the environment.(建筑师必须考虑建
选项中查找表示结果、结论、总结等的信号词,如 as a result, in short,

(2023 年广州中考)Architects(建筑师) and building engineers
are thinking about how to make buildings greener. These days, green
architecture is becoming more and more popular.__42__
We need to be very careful…the building work is going on.

It is better to choose renewable materials—
those that the Earth replaces quickly.__43__ Also, for those materials that
are not renewable, we need to use them as little as possible.
选项 A“Or we
can reuse some materials.(或者我们可以重复使用一些材料)” 中,“Or”
