Amelia George is a college student. When she heard that her friend Lucy passed a difficult test, she was upset. She failed (不及格) that test. The test was very important, and it might make a difference to her future.
“I got upset,” said Amelia. But then, instead of being lost in the sad feeling, Amelia called Lucy. “I told her I failed and that I was jealous (忌妒的),” she said.

A short time ago, a park in Selwood, England, looked terrible. The water in lake was dirty, the seats were broken and the place was full of rubbish.
But now the park looks quite different, thanks to Michael Chambers, a 16-year-old student. Michael started a group called Park Rescue (营救). Volunteers of the group used their free time to clean the park. They took away the rubbish and started cleaning the lake. They fixed a lot of the seats and bought some new tables. They also planted some flowers and 60 young trees.
Michael told people what they were doing in the park through the newspaper. In six months, about 120 more people joined Park Rescue. The group also planned concerts and raised money in the street. With these activities and the help of some warm-hearted people, they have raised over 4, 000.
“Birds start to come back to the park. The long-closed restaurant is going to open soon.
