Aiwen: Yes, it is. But I like sunflowers better. They are beautiful and they face the sun.
Sam: I like apple trees the most. They have delicious fruit.
Yiming: When the wind comes, the bamboo bends but doesn't break. That's why I like it.

1. when 意为“当……时”，引导时间状语从句。
2. comes、bends在句中都用其第三人称单数形式，因为主语分别 为the wind和it（bamboo）。
3. break意为“断裂”，这里表示竹子不会断裂。
当风吹来的时候，它会弯腰但不会折断。
