Work in groups and choose topics like Communication Methods, Learning Tools, Shopping Ways.
And describe changes using the “ used to... now...” structure, imitating the logic from the transport topic.
For example:
Before, we used to communicate by letters. Now we communicate by Smartphone.
My mom used to shop in the market. Now she shops online.
Activity 6: Life change discussion
Refer to the sentence structure from the transport topic—first describe the past, then contrast with the present.
1. Write 2 sentences: One about your family member’s past transport (use “used to...”), and the other about your present transport. (Required)
2. Finish Part A1 and A2 in the Workbook. (Required)
3. Draw a picture of “transport in the past” or “transport now” and write 1 simple sentence for it. (Optional)
