Past continuous tense

过去进行时肯定句结构:S(主语)+be(was/were)+v.ing(动词现在分词)[+其他]
过去进行时否定句结构:S(主语)+be(was/were)+not+v.ing(动词现在分词)[+其他]

Usage Ⅱ 连接两个非延续性动作
延续性动词+while+延续性动词
when/while均译为“当....时”，引导时间状语从句.
Past continuous tense
引导时间状语从句时，从句谓语动作既可与主句同时发生，也可以是之前或之后发生；若主句是一般将来时，则从句用一般现在时表将来。
主句常用一般过去时或一般现在时，从句常用进行时；强调主句和从句同时进行。
