Knowledge
The weather in the eye of a typhoon is surprisingly calm: there is little to no wind, and the skies are clear or partly cloudy.
However, this calm in the typhoon eye is quite short-lived, usually lasting only one to two hours.
Typhoon won’t cause tsunamis but storm surges(风暴潮).

window broke. Even our roof nearly came off! My
children were crying, and my wife was scared too.
Reporter: Oh dear. Were you prepared for the typhoon
