This boy is Nils. He is the main character of the book The Wonderful Adventures of Nils.

Fantasy and adventure.
The Wonderful Adventure of Nils is written by the Swedish writer Selma Lagerl f. It’s the only children’s book that won the author the Nobel Prize in Literature.
It tells the story of a naughty boy named Nils. After he magically becomes very small, he travels across Sweden on the back of a domestic goose. Through his amazing journey, he learns about kindness, friendship, and the beauty of nature.
This play is adapted from The Wonderful Adventures of Nils.
