Teaching aims 1.Through classroom activities such as "listening and repeating", "interactive dialogues" and "reading and writing exercises", students can understand, speak, read and recognize the core vocabulary (such as "play a game", "row a boat", "take a photo", "tell a story", etc.) for describing free activities, and can use the core sentence pattern "We like to... together." to initially describe the activities participated in together with friends. 2.Through classroom activities such as "listening and repeating", "interactive dialogues" and "reading and writing exercises", students can understand, speak, read and recognize the core vocabulary (such as "play a game", "row a boat", "take a photo", "tell a story", etc.) for describing free activities, and can use the core sentence pattern "We like to... together." to initially describe the activities participated in together with friends. 3.By creating real-life situations, students can use English (such as "We like to... together.") to describe activities they do with friends. They can predict the impact of different collective activities on interpersonal relationships according to the scenarios and attempt to classify and discuss the activities. 4.Through interactive activities such as "Listening and Pointing to Pictures", "Observation and Tick Marking" and "Drawing Friendship Activity Maps", students can improve their listening comprehension and information screening abilities in practice. And by sharing and jointly drawing pictures, they can further enhance their collaborative abilities and comprehensive language application abilities.
Teaching Important points 1.Master the correct pronunciation and meanings of the core vocabulary in this class (such as "play a game", "row a boat", "take a photo", "tell a story", etc.). 2.Students can use the core sentence pattern "We like to... together." skillfully to describe free-time activities done with friends. 3.Students can understand and complete simple dialogues or instructions about group activities with the help of pictures, actions or the teacher.
Teaching difficulties 1.The pronunciation accuracy of some polysyllabic words (such as: mountain, together), and the flexible use of phrases (such as: go boating, take photos) in sentence patterns. 2.In actual communication, be able to express oneself correctly using the first person plural (We) according to different activity scenarios, and initially perceive the different impacts of different activities on friendship. 3.During the process of group cooperation in drawing a "Friends' Activity Map" and describing it, be able to organize language smoothly and clearly express one's own and peers' common activities.

Greeting Activity2.Look and say Lead students loot at the picture then answer the question:What are they doing together Why do they become friends Step2.Presentation Activity1.Warm up The teacher plays short videos related to the theme. Students watch the videos and count the number of friend pairs, and discuss the quantity of friend pairs that appear in the videos. Activity2.Ask and answer The teacher interacts with students by asking and answering questions, learning core words and phrases. Through charades to guess words, help students practice and consolidate. Read out the words and phrases quickly and loudly when you see them. 2.Guide students to complete the summer ice bucket game, read the words and choose the correct options to fill in the blanks, so as to stimulate students' enthusiasm. Activity4. Find and make a pair Guide students to complete the "Look and Read" game. Read out the words loudly when you see them. Boys and girls will have a competition. Step3. Practice Activity1.Let’s practice Present pictures and sentences. Students should say appropriate words and phrases according to the pictures and answer (the questions). Activity2.Act and say Lead students guess and act out the activities they like to do with their friends. Invite several students to perform their actions, and the whole class will guess what the activities are. Activity3.Circle and write Lead students circle the activities in the picture and write a sentence for each activity. After showing the pictures of the activities, students circle the activities and write sentences, and finally the whole class discusses these activities and their corresponding sentences together. Activity4.Show and talk After the students display their photos, describe them using core vocabulary, and invite some students to share their photos and descriptions. Activity5.Look and tick Lead students look at photos and tick the ones that are about friends.
