Teaching aims 1.Create a real-life situation within the group to understand the cultural connotations of friendship and social interaction in different scenarios (such as summer camps). Students will explore how friendships are established and maintained through shared activities and communication, and cultivate cross-cultural communication awareness. 2.By analyzing how characters in the text become friends and the activities they participate in together, students will practice problem-solving and master core vocabulary and sentence patterns by completing exercises and comparing different phonetic elements (such as distinguishing between the pronunciation of "t" and "d"). 3.By participating in interactive activities (such as listening sequencing, reading pairing and textbook exercises), students will master efficient learning strategies such as active listening, reading comprehension and phonological awareness, and form autonomous learning abilities. 4.With the help of language structures and tables, students will describe social interactions, especially those in friendship situations. Through activities such as reading texts, listening to dialogues and role-playing, they will practice their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills and improve their comprehensive language application ability.
Teaching Important points 1.Students can master core vocabulary and sentence patterns, be able to describe the social interactions in the process of making friends, and understand how characters in the text build friendships through shared activities. 2.Distinguish and pronounce the phonetic elements "t" and "d" correctly.
Teaching difficulties Accurately distinguish the pronunciation differences between 't' and 'd' in words, especially in the listening and pronunciation discrimination section.

Teaching Procedures Step1.Warm up Activity1. Greeting Activity2.Look and say Lead student look at the picture and answer the question. Q1:How many people can you see Q2:Where are they Q3:What can they do there Step2.Presentation Activity1.Read and match Lead students read the names (Lanlan, Dandan, Junjun, Kaikai) and match them with the correct descriptions or actions. Activity2.Listen and order Lead students listen to a recording and order the events (1, 2, 3, 4) based on what they hear. Activity3.Let’s learn Look and guess Lead students guess what Dandan and Lanlan can do together. Listen and answer Lead students listen carefully and answer the question. Listen and follow Lead students listen and follow the tape. (4)Look and read Lead students look at the picture and read the dialogue. Activity4. Let’s practice Review the imperative sentence 'Let's...'. It means 'Let us...'+ verb in the base form, and review the contracted form 'let's' = 'let us'. Activity5.Watch and learn Lead students watch a video to understand the formation and maintenance of friendship. Activity6. Think and answer Lead students look at the picture and think,then answer the question. Q1:Are they friends at first Q2:How do they become friends Q3:What do they do together Activity7.Tick and say Lead students read statements about how the characters make friends and tick the correct ones. Activity8.Think and say Lead students think about how they make friends and discuss in groups. Activity9.Read and act Lead students think about how they make friends and act out a short dialogue or conversation about making friends. Activity10.Think Lead students brainstorm and practice phrases they can use to make friends at a summer camp. Step3. Practice Activity1.Look,follow and say Lead students practice the sound "t" with words: Tom, talk, foot, kite, tired, sister. Activity2.Learn the sounds Lead students practice pronunciation first, and then read the words. Play the audio and let students read along. Activity3.Read and compare Lead read the words and compare the sounds. Discuss the differences in pronunciation as a class. Activity4. Watch and learn The teacher plays a short video about making friends. After watching it, the students discuss what they have learned. Activity5.Listen,follow and read Lead students listen carefully and follow the chant loudly.
