Teaching aims 1.Through game activities, students will analyze the interactions between characters in the text and the process of friendship formation, and reflect on the importance of shared interests and mutual support in maintaining friendships, thus cultivating a positive attitude towards interpersonal communication. 2.Through a quiz in the form of question and answer, students will participate in practical activities that require thinking about how to describe and share their own experiences with friends, as well as how to effectively convey personal preferences and activities, so as to improve their oral expression and communication skills. 3.In the "Thinking and Writing" activity, students will improve their reading comprehension skills through exercises such as reading texts and answering questions. Meanwhile, they will also cultivate their writing skills through exercises like writing articles about their friends' interests and hobbies and sharing personal experiences. 4.Through interactive activities (such as listening and repeating, thinking and discussing) and group activities (such as chanting and Q&A), students will reflect on their own experiences and share ideas and activities with their peers, thus improving their effective communication and collaboration skills.
Teaching Important points 1.Students can master the core vocabulary and sentence patterns for describing friends' interests, hobbies and common activities, and understand how characters in the text build friendships through common interests and mutual support. 2.Students can obtain information through reading and express their personal experiences and ideas through writing.

Greeting Activity2.Watch and review Lead students watch a video or animation that summarizes what they have learned about making friends and answer review questions. Step2.Presentation Activity1.Look and read Lead students look at the picture and read the dialogue. Activity2.Listen and answer Lead students listen carefully and answer the question. Activity3.Listen and chant Lead students listen again and chant it together. Activity4. Chant in groups Lead students read the chant loudly in their groups. Activity5.Read and learn Lead students read and practice the sentence structure: "Do you like ... (doing) " "Yes, I do." / "No, I don’t." Students will read and answer questions like: "Do you like rowing ""Do you like skipping " They will respond with "Yes, I do" or "No, I don’t." Activity6. Read and think Lead students read the chant together and find the key word. Activity7.Think and talk Lead students think about their own experiences and discuss with a partner. Invite a few students to share their thoughts with the class. Step3. Practice Activity1.Listen and number The teacher play the audio with descriptions of activities. Students listen and number the pictures. Discuss the correct order as a class. Activity2.Look and read Lead students look at the picture and read the sentences loudly. Activity3.Think and say Lead students observe the pictures and explain why the students are happy. Discuss the reasons as a class. Activity4. Think Encourage students to talk about their experiences with friends.
