感知并认读地震、洪水、暴风雪等自然灾害词汇。听懂三个简短对话，获取对话中的人物所经历的自然灾害类型及当时正在进行的活动。梳理并理解过去进行时（was/were + doing）的基本结构和用法。

运用所学词汇和过去进行时，描述图片或情境中的人物在特定时刻正在做的事情。通过角色扮演和小组采访活动，围绕“What were you doing when... ”进行问答交流。在对话练习中内化目标语言，提升口语表达的准确性和流利度。

结合生活经验，推测自然灾害发生时人们可能面临的情况，判断哪些行为更安全。评价听力中人物的反应，思考自己在类似情境下的应对方式，形成初步的安全意识。通过分层作业（写作或采访），创造性地运用本课语言描述真实或想象的经历，表达对生命的珍视。
