Instead of leaving unused corners of the campus empty,this team turned them into small herb
gardens.They planted easy-to-grow herbs like mint and basil,which students can pick for free to
make tea or add to homemade snacks.The team also wrote a small guidebook on herb planting
and circulation,which was distributed to every class to encourage more students to get involved in
gardening.The“Silent Lunch”Team
To reduce noise pollution in the cafeteria during peak hours,the team proposed a"silent lunch"
zone where students can eat quietly while reading books or doing light homework.They also
designed colorful signs to remind students to lower their voices in other areas of the cafeteria.The
project was so well-received that it has now been adopted by three other schools in the city.
