as...as意为“和……一样”
表示同级的比较。使用时要注意第一个as为副词，
第二个as为连词。其基本结构为：as+ adj./ adv. +as。
例如：
(1) This film is as interesting as that one.
这部电影和那部电影一样有趣。
(2) Your pen writes as smoothly as mine.
你的钢笔书写起来和我的一样流畅。

until“直到”，表示某一种行为一直持续到某一时间。用在肯定句中，句子的谓语动词必须是可延续性的。
(1) I studied English until 9 o’clock last night. 我咋晚学英语一直学到9点钟。
(表示9点前一直在学)
(2) I waited for five hours until it was dark. I had to give it up.
not...until“直到……才”表示直到某一时间，某一行为才发生，之前该行为并没有发生。用在否定句中，主句中的谓语可以是延续性的也可以是短暂性动词.
I did not study English until 9 o’clock last night.
我咋晚直到9点钟才学英语。
