The birds of the forest had no king. All the birds thought they needed a king. But who would be the king One said “Let the bird who flies the highest be the king.” Everyone agreed. Eagle (老鹰) heard that and asked, “Why not make me the king now I can fly the highest.”

One evening, the moon suddenly stopped shining, leaving the night in complete darkness and the world below in trouble. The animals of the forest gathered, looking worried. “Without moonlight, how will we see or hunt at night ” asked Owl.
A brave little firefly named Flick offered to find the missing light. She flew up, up, up, until she reached the moon. There, she found a tiny, sad star sitting quietly in a corner.
“Why are you hiding here ” Flick asked.
“I’m too small to shine brightly,” the star said softly. “The other stars laugh at me, so I stole the moon’s light to make myself brighter.”
