There are many things I like to do in my free time, like listening to music, drawing, and playing video games. But I prefer playing basketball.
I first tried basketball in a PE class two years ago. I was not good at it, but I found it exciting. Now, I practice with my friends at the school court every Tuesday and Thursday.
Basketball is my favorite because it’s both fun and challenging. It keeps me healthy and teaches me about teamwork. What I love most is the feeling when our team works together to score. Every game is a new adventure, and every shot fills me with energy. I’m glad to have such an active hobby.
In my spare time, I do many things—I collect stamps, play chess, and help my mom cook. But the activity I love most is writing stories.
My interest began after I read a wonderful book in fifth grade. I thought, “I want to create my own world too.” Now, I write in my notebook almost every evening.
Writing allows me to express my thoughts and imagination freely. It also improves my language skills. Most importantly, it gives me a way to relax and escape into different adventures. Whenever I finish a story, I feel a real sense of achievement. It’s like leaving a part of myself on the page.
