在英式英语和美式英语中，楼层的表达有差别，如下：

Mile (mi)：英里，1 mi ≈ 1.609 km。
Meter (m)：米，基本单位。
Kilometer (km)：千米，1 km = 1000 m。
Centimeter (cm)：厘米，1 cm = 0.01 m。

relax vi.放松，休息
relaxed adj. 感到放松的

over prep.在......期间 在此处相当于during
e.g. We'll talk about it over lunch.
我们将边吃午饭边讨论这个问题。
She hasn’t changed much over the years.
这些年来她没有太多变化。
介词 超过，多于 The history of Chinese characters can date back over 3,000 years. 汉字的历史可以追溯到3 000多年前。
在……上方 There is a bridge over the river. 河上有一座桥。
副词 结束 The exam is over! Why not go to the movies to relax 考试结束了！为什么不去看电影放松一下呢？

have fun=enjoy oneself=have a good time
have fun doing sth 做某事很开心。
have fun with sb 与……玩得开心
e.g. I have fun playing basketball with my friends.

10. Next to our farmhouse is a yard.
我们的农舍旁边是一个院子。
A yard is next to our farmhouse.
本句是倒装句。
Next to引导的介词短语置于句首，句子常倒装。
类似的句型还有：
In front of our classroom is the playground.
操场在我们教室前面。
Across the street is a big shopping mall.
街对面是一家大型购物商场。
把句子的某一部分放到前面，让句子变得更生动或更强调某个内容，这种句子叫倒装句。
The dog is here.
Here is the dog!
The cat is under the table.
Under the table is the cat!
Next to 引导的介词短语置于句首时，句子常倒装。
next to 紧邻，在...近旁
beside在...旁边
near在附近
e.g. My house is next to the police station.
我家紧挨着警察局。
我俩紧挨着坐在一起。
We sit next to each other.
我站在他旁边。
I stand next to him.

1. 表示方式或手段
e.g. I go to school by bus. by+交通工具

2. 表示时间，“不迟于”某个时间点。
e.g. Please finish your homework by 8 PM.
请在晚上8点前完成作业。
We should arrive by noon.

3. 表示位置，“在……旁边”或“靠近”。
e.g. The book is by the window.
书在窗边。
She sits by me.
她坐在我旁边。
4. 表示作者或创作者，用于说明某物的作者或创作者。
e.g. This book was written by Mark Twain.
这本书是马克·吐温写的。
The painting was done by Picasso.
这幅画是毕加索创作的。
