本单元要求写一份创建校园俱乐部的提案(proposal)。提案是一种正式的建议或计划。一份优秀的提案，应将提案的类型、目的、活动计划、注意事项、宣传方式等交代清楚。为使提案易于阅读，需要把不同类型的信息进行分类；此外，提案的语言要简短、真诚、正式，表达应多采用祈使句和动词不定式等。

此类文体一般包含的信息较多，为避免出现杂乱无序、堆砌要点的情况，在写作时，应注意把不同类型的信息进行分类，以做到醒目突出、条理分明。同时，在介绍具体内容时，应做到详略得当。如Part B中Maggie的提案就是从Name、Leader、Time、Aim、Activities、Materials以及Members这七个角度进行层级式展现，且详写了Activities和Members这两部分的内容。
三、学要点构思
此类文体属于正式的建议书，所提建议应切实可行。如本课时Part A的听力文本中提到“It should help students learn a useful skill — you can't have a ‘juice-drinking club’， for example”，着重强调了提议建立的俱乐部必须有实际意义。此外，详写的部分应对要点进行适度拓展延伸，如Part B中的提案在详写活动内容时从“读、写、评、讲”等方面分别列出了俱乐部具体的活动项目。学生自己在创写内容时，也应注意找好切入点，将要点写充实。

How to Deal with Common Book Club Challenges
Running a book club discussion can sometimes be tricky or stressful.Here are some common issues along with solutions that you can try.
Challenge 1： Few members talk too much， with others participating little

Challenge 2： Heated discussions or disagreements
