现在进行时的被动语态
一、定义和构成形式
现在进行时的被动语态表示现在或现阶段正在进行或发生的被动动作，主语是动作的承受者。
句式 结构
肯定句式 主语＋be(am/is/are)＋being＋done
否定句式 主语＋be(am/is/are)＋not＋being＋done
一般疑问句式 Be(Am/Is/Are)＋主语＋being＋done？
特殊疑问句式 特殊疑问词＋be(am/is/are)＋主语＋being＋done？
The plan is being discussed at the meeting now.
现在会议上正在讨论这个计划。
The engineer is not being treated fairly at present.

二、基本用法
1. 表示此时此刻正在进行的被动动作，常与now, right now, at present，at this moment, at the moment等词连用。
The criminal is now being watched over by a policeman.
那名罪犯现在正由一名警察看守。
2. 表示现阶段或目前这段时间正在进行的被动动作，但此时此刻不一定正在发生。
Many lectures about traditional Chinese culture are being given these days.
这些天许多有关中国传统文化的讲座正在举办。(说话时并不一定正在进行)
3. 表示一种经常性或反复性的被动行为，常与always，constantly，frequently等词连用，表示赞赏(扬)、羡慕、讨厌等感彩。
I feel very puzzled that the goods in our shop are always being stolen.(表示厌恶)
我感到很迷惑，我们商店的商品总是被偷。
I feel very surprised that the window of our classroom is frequently being broken.(表示愤怒)我感到很吃惊的是，我们教室的那扇窗户总是被打破。
4. 与某些情态动词连用，表示对正在发生的被动动作的推测。
He may be being scolded by his father at the very moment.
此刻他也许正被他父亲责骂。

三、注意要点
1. 现在进行时的被动语态也可以表示将来。
现在进行时的被动语态有时可表示按计划或安排将要进行的一个被动动作（此种用法仅限于少数及物动词，如 hold, build, give 等）。
A party is being held tonight..
今晚将要举行一场聚会。
The final exam is being held next week.
期末考试将于下周进行。
2. 一些表示状态、心理活动、拥有、存在等的动词，如 want，need，like，realize 等，一般没有进行时的被动语态，而常用一般现在时的被动语态表示此时此刻或目前主语处于谓语动词所表示的状态。
玛丽，过来，有你的电话。
[误] Mary，come here. You’re being wanted on the phone.
[正] Mary，come here. You’re wanted on the phone.
3. “be + under/in/on 等介词 + 名词” 结构可表示现在进行时的被动语态的含义。。
The problem is under discussion(＝is being discussed) at the meeting.
这个问题正在会上被讨论。
The library was built in the 12th century and is still in use (＝is being used) today.
这个图书馆建于12世纪，今天仍在使用中。
Many new cars are on show(＝ are being shown).
许多新车正在展出。
4. take care of，look after，talk about，think of等“动词＋介词”构成的短语动词用于现在进行时的被动语态时，其中的介词不可省略。
The ways to stop illegal hunting are being talked about.
阻止非法捕猎的方法正在讨论中。
The baby is being taken care of by the nurse.
这个婴儿正由护士照顾。
The old man is being looked after by his grandson.
这位老人正由他的孙子照顾。
