写作项目——Write a diary entry　
本单元的写作任务是写一篇日记。英文日记通常由书端和正文两个部分组成。书端用于书写日记的日期、星期和天气，正文部分则以第一人称记叙一天生活中的所见、所闻、所做或所想。日记通常分为记事型、议论型、描写型和抒情型。记事型是记述当天自己生活、学习中发生的事情；议论型是对生活中的某一事情或现象表达自己的看法，发表观点；描写型或抒情型则是对某人或某物的特征做细致的描述，或针对某事物抒发自己的感情。

一、学文体架构
根据本课时Part B中Patrick的日记，可总结出该类文体的框架结构如下：
二、学行文逻辑
Part B中Patrick的日记以议论为主，开篇即点题，首段说明“什么是真正的好朋友”；主体段落围绕论点展开论述，第二、三段分别从“提供帮助”和“无私”两方面对好朋友的概念进行论述，且在段落组织形式上都采用了“段首句为主题句，其他部分为支撑句”的模式；尾段做出总结，照应中心论点。
三、学要点构思
学生习作中最常出现的问题是要点陈述过于宽泛，写出的文章空洞乏味。究其根源主要在于抓不到要点拓展的角度以及缺乏支撑要点的素材。前者需要多练笔，后者则要在学习中多积累。
(一)假如你的朋友在学习方面遇到了困难，你能提供什么帮助？根据Part A中的听力文本可以梳理出的要点有：

·Meet after school and go over the challenging parts together.
·Compare notes so you don't miss anything important.
·Do some reading together at the weekend.

四、学亮点表达

五、学情节展开
