The Story in the Swimming Lesson
Swimming is fun,but safety always comes first.This is what I've learned deeply from last Friday afternoon's
swimming class at our school's pool.
At first,my classmates and I practiced swimming skills as usual.Suddenly,my classmate Tom cried out in
pain.His right leg cramped badly,and he looked really scared.I stayed calm,remembering the emergency tips
our P.E.teacher taught us.I swam to him quickly,told him not to panic,and held his arms to keep his head
above water.Then I cried to a teacher nearby.With the teacher's help,Tom was saved.
This experience made me realize how necessary it is to learn safety skills.It was a meaningful lesson that I'll
never forget.Safety should always be in our minds.
