①Much has been written about the wonders of the World Wide Web. There are countless articles telling us how the Internet has made our lives more convenient. We can download software, documents, and images whenever we need them. But the Internet has done much more for people than simply make life more convenient. ②Jan Tchamani, an English teacher in Birmingham, UK, suddenly developed a serious illness突然得了一场重病 and had to quit her job. The Double-edged Sword of the Internet
Good morning, everyone! It's my honor to share my ideas on the Internet.
The Internet brings great convenience. It breaks time and space barriers for instant communication, offers massive information to broaden our horizons, and supports distance education. However, it also has downsides消极面,缺点: false information, privacy risks and internet addiction trouble us a lot.
In short, the Internet is a double-edged sword. We should use it rationally to enjoy its benefits and avoid harms.
