Christmas
The Origin of the Christmas
Christmas on December 25th celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. But the story of why it's on that day is a mix of religion and history.
December 25th was already a big holiday in ancient Rome before it was Christmas. It used to celerate the “Sun”.
The date and some festive customs of Christmas were borrowed from older Roman winter festivals. The Christian church changed their meaning to be about the birth of Jesus.
