1) not...until...“直到......才......” 表示主句的动作直到until才发生。

3)until用在肯定句中“直到......为止”,谓语动词一般是延续性动词.

Why do people have trouble  learnin (learn) English I hadn’t asked myself that until one day when my son asked me     (sudden) whether there was ham in a hamburger, which got me    (think)how English can be a crazy language to learn. There are many words that can be confusing and also can make us wonder      the unique madness of English. For example, we sculpt a     (sculpt) and paint a painting but we take photo. “Hard” and “soft” are opposite in meaning, but “hardly” and “softly” aren’t. And do you read the (capitalize)“WHO” in a medical report as the “who” in “Who’s that ” All the examples tell us that English (invent) by people and it   (reflect)the creativity of the human race. That’s      when the stars are out, they are visible,but when the lights are out, they are invisible.
