Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901, in Chicago, Illinois. From a young age, Walt showed a great love for drawing. He would draw pictures of animals and make up stories about them.
As a young man, Walt moved to Hollywood. He wanted to make his dreams of creating cartoons come true. At first, it was not easy. He faced many problems, but he never gave up.

Walt Disney passed away in 1966, but his work lives on. His movies and theme parks continue to bring joy to millions of people every day.
