Recently, China has introduced the Lucky Horse as the mascot (吉祥物) for the 2026 Chinese New Year. It will be used in Chinese New Year celebrations worldwide.
Lin Cunzhen, leader of the design team at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, said horses carry deep meanings in many cultures. She hopes the mascot will help people around the world feel closer to Chinese New Year, Chinese culture and the zodiac (生肖) tradition.

Creative video makers (创意视频博主) are using AI to bring famous people from history like Tang Dynasty poets Li Bai and Du Fu to modern life. These videos are very popular, and they show these well-known ancient people talking in our everyday modern language.
In one video, Du Fu talks about his experience during the An-Shi Rebellion (安史之乱) (755-763). In another, Ming Dynasty doctor Li Shizhen jokes about(调侃) modern living habits, like people drinking goji berry (枸杞) water to stay healthy but still staying up very late every night.

When you hear the sound of the fire bell, go out of the classroom as quickly as possible. You can leave the classroom through the front or back door. Leave your bags and coats in the classroom. In a real fire, there isn’t time to get these. Your teachers will stand together on the square by the library. When you are there, find your class and line up. Then your teachers will check your names. You mustn’t talk, jump or run during the fire practice. These safety rules are very useful and important to us. Please remember all the rules. Thank you!
