Mr Wang is an amazing craftsman. He is over 60 years old, and his hair is white. However, when he sits down to do a paper-cut, his hands move very quickly. He looks almost like a young person when he works!
Mr Wang’s skills are amazing. He carefully folds the paper, draws patterns, and then turns it into a beautiful artwork, such as a paper flower or an animal. All his paper-cuts are made with love and care, and his studio is full of wonderful works. Mr Wang tells me he loves paper-cutting, and he really wants to keep this traditional art alive. He hopes he can pass on his craft to young people.
I love Mr Wang’s works because they look so real. I am amazed by his beautiful designs, and each of them is cut from a single piece of paper. I wish I can one day learn to make beautiful paper-cuts too.

Yesterday, I visited Mr Li’s pottery studio. Although he is over 60, he is still very energetic. Mr Li has devoted his life to pottery—a craft tradition that has been passed down for centuries.
It was very interesting to see Mr Li work in the studio. He can shape clay into all kinds of beautiful shapes, and he decorates his vases, teapots and bowls with beautiful patterns, such as flowers, birds and scenes from ancient stories. His designs are clean and simple, and many people also think his pieces are very practical.
In fact, Mr Li’s works are loved by everyone in town. Last year, an exhibition of his ceramic works was held at a local art gallery, and there were several hundred visitors on the opening night.
It was wonderful to meet Mr Li, and I was very impressed by his works. I hope that more young people will study this craft and help keep this tradition alive.
