一、学情分析 八年级学生已具备一定的英语阅读基础，能够理解简单的记叙文和说明文。他们对体育话题有较高的兴趣，尤其是女排精神作为国家荣誉的象征，容易引发情感共鸣。但学生在长难句理解、细节信息提取和深层含义分析方面仍需引导，同时需要通过多样化的活动调动学习积极性，将语言学习与情感体验相结合。
二、教材分析 本本单元以“safety”为主题，Lesson 6通过三方面重申“ be cybersafe is so important!”的价值观。文章语言难度适中，包含大量与cybersafe相关的词汇和表达，如“Personal information”“hurtful messages,”“Cyberbullying”等。通过学习本课，学生不仅能提升阅读理解能力，还能深刻体会cybersafe的重要性，在日常生活中注意cybersafe。
三、教学目标 By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: 1.Identify key vocabulary related to cybersafety (e.g., cyberbully, password, privacy, phishing). 2.Understand and discuss common online risks (e.g., cyberbullying, identity theft, malware). 3.Formulate and apply safe online practices (e.g., creating strong passwords, protecting personal information). 4.Engage in a role-play activity to demonstrate appropriate responses to online threats.
