Volunteers who work in care centres in
Morocco interact with children of different
ages, from babies to teenagers. They help
prepare meals and teach children literacy (识字) skills. Interacting with children is both rewarding and enlightening (有启迪作用的). The volunteers could learn to look at things in a new way through working with these children.

Around the World
In an elephant orphanage in Sri Lanka, the
elephants, especially the sick and the young, are raised in the natural environment of the forest. Volunteers in this orphanage assist the elephant handlers (驯兽师) in caring for the elephants. They help feed, bath and play with the elephants. It is a rare and amazing opportunity to get some hands-on experience with elephants.
