A Lesson I Learned from Growing Up
Last year, I learned an important lesson about saying sorry. I had a big fight with my best friend over a small thing. We didn’t talk for a week and I felt really lonely.
At first, I was too proud to say sorry. But my mother told me, “True friends are worth more than pride.” So I took a deep breath and talked to my friend. I said sorry and he forgave me. We became best friends again.
This experience taught me that saying sorry takes courage, but it brings us closer to people we care about. Now I’m not afraid to admit my mistakes. Growing up means learning to value relationships more than pride.
