Dear Eric, I know it can be difficult to follow many rules. But rules can be good for us, and they are there for a reason. Here are some ideas to make things easier.
Try to make a simple plan for your day. This can help you do your housework quickly and still have time for fun.
Tell your parents how you feel. Ask if you can have some free time too. You can say, “Mum and Dad, I need some time to relax after doing my homework.”
See if someone else can help you with your housework. Maybe your friend can help. You can say, “Can you help me walk the dog ”
