第一节(满分15分)
One possible version:
Dear John,
I'm thrilled to share with you my recent visit to the newly opened cultural park in our city with my family. It is a
large park packed with traditional Chinese buildings, flourishing gardens and engaging displays that present our long-
standing cultural traditions. We wandered along streets in ancient Chinese style, marvelling at the delicate workmanship
of the architectures and listening to fascinating tales from history.
The visit was truly enlightening.I gained deeper appreciation for our culture's diversity and depth. It was a
memorable experience that not only entertained us but also educated us.
Wish you could join us next time!
Yours,
Li Hua
第二节(满分25分)
One possible version:
Unluckily,a terrible storm attacked the city. All night, the wind howled like a wounded beast, and rain washed
away the colorful wall without mercy.I watched from the window,my heart sinking with each flash of lightning that
destroyed the running colors-the green forests bleeding into blue rivers and the yellow suns fading into gray.Had the
storm come a little later,we might have covered the wall, yet nature offered no mercy.I stood there helplessly, the
brushes still in my hand, listening to the steady drip of water that sounded like the echo of our lost effort.
After the storm,I surprisedly found many children gathering before the wall.Kai stepped forward first, his small
figure framed by the clearing sky,and looked at me as if asking whether the story was truly over."Not if we choose to
begin again,"I said. With that,I dipped my brush into fresh white paint and drew a small bridge-just a beginning.
One by one,the children followed. As the afternoon sun dried the new shapes,I realized that storms could erase paint,
but not voices. What we rebuilt now belonged to all of us,and in this second beginning, their silence finally learned to
speak.
