句子逻辑:尽管(存在)A(负面情况),但是(结果)B(积极或中性情况)仍然成立。
让步状语从句:
用来表示一种“退一步说”的情况。它承认或先假设某个事实(从句部分),但这个事实并不能阻止或影响主句所表达的主要情况的发生。

让步状语从句的注意点:
1.位置灵活:让步状语从句可以放在主句之前(如本句),也可以放在主句之后。当放在主句之前时,通常用逗号与主句隔开。

although:较为正式。
though:非常常用,口语和书面语中都常见。
even though:语气最强,强调“即使……也……”。

注意:although 或though 不与but,however 连用,但可与yet, still 连用。

主句
时间状语从句:用来说明主句动作发生的时间。
句子逻辑:主句的否定状态(不会/没有…)会一直持续,直到从句表示的动作发生为止。一旦从句动作发生,主句的状态就立即发生反转。
时间状语从句的注意点:
在含有 until 从句的复合句中,如果主句是将来时,从句通常用一般现在时来表示将来的时间。这是时间状语从句中常见的“主将从现”原则。
主句:You won’t know(一般将来时)
从句:until you talk(一般现在时)。

so that引导从句的注意点:
so that 引导的从句既可以表示结果,也可以表示目的,两者在意义上非常接近,但侧重点略有不同:
表示目的时:更侧重于“意图”或“目标”,常可译为“为了…”、“以便…”。从句中常含有 can, could, may, might, will, would 等情态动词。
表示结果时:更侧重于客观上的“后果”,常可译为“结果是…”、“以至于…”。

条件状语从句:用来表示主句动作发生的前提或条件。如果这个条件成立,那么主句所描述的情况就会发生。
条件状语从句的注意点1:谈论的是一个在将来可能发生、或者在过去/现在普遍适用的真实情况,语气是现实的。
从句时态:使用了一般过去时。这里用过去时并非指过去时间,而是表示一种假设性,使语气更加委婉和客观。
主句时态:使用了“情态动词 should + 动词原形”的结构,来表达在这种条件下给出的建议。
条件状语从句的注意点2:位置灵活
和大多数状语从句一样,if 引导的条件状语从句可以放在主句之前或之后。
从句在前:If you did something wrong, you should apologize.(强调条件)
从句在后:You should apologize if you did something wrong.(意思完全相同)
当从句放在主句前面时,通常用逗号与主句隔开。
