Kaitlin Riffel started dreaming of ending poverty(贫困) when she was visiting her father. He worked for the homeless.
“I never realised there were people in the world who didn't have a home or food before，” said Kaitlin, who is now sixteen. “I knew there was something I had to do about that.”

Last term, our class started a volunteer project at a community library. As a book lover, I was excited to join. Our main job was to sort(分类) returned books, help visitors find the right books, and read stories to kids on weekends.
