Jacob lived at the foot of the mountains. There was a thick forest, and the boy loved it very much. He knew the birds and other animals there very well.
One day, while he was playing in the forest, Jacob found an eaglet(雏鹰) with a broken wing. It fell off a tall tree. Jacob picked it up and then took it home. He cleaned its wing with warm water. Then he carefully put the medicine on the wing. And he made a bed for the little bird to lie on.

Early one morning, Jacob took the eaglet high up a hill. He then let it go. The bird flew into the sky happily. But soon, it seemed to remember something.
